New Collections for 2010

Judy Bliss

Bliss's sculptural sense produces bold, extravagant, almost three dimensional shapes dripping with semi-precious stones, pearls, sterling silver, vermeil - and sophistication.

Deb Brilla

The components used to make this intriguing jewelry come from a variety of sources which may include old die stampings, text, semi-precious stones, old glass, crystals, brass, bronze, sterling and specially made parts.  Each piece is carefully designed to be unique while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.

Theresa Carson

Theresa's handmade sterling silver jewelry incorporates form and texture to create graphic designs that are enduring and unique.  Each piece has been oxidized and then patterned by hand.

Chickenscratch

Chickenscratch jewelry is created by the husband and wife team of Lisa and Scott Cylinder, in their home studio.  The pieces are mostly made from brass sheet and wire that is hand cut and manipulated.  The jewelry is finished using numerous methods which create a variety of colors, including a unique patination process, various colored leafs, bright enamel paints, luminous mica powders and silver and gold plate.  Chickenscratch cleverly blends color, concepts and movable elements resulting in amusing jewelry images.

Barbara Cieslicki

Barbara Cieslicki, a New England jewelry artist, creates luminescent acrylic earrings, bracelets, and necklaces in sophisticated colors that flatter every skin tone.  The carved designs in the acrylic are inlaid with gold and silver leaf.  Because her jewelry is feather light, it will quickly become what you wear every day and what they will notice every time!

Ann Egan

Ann designs jewelry made from a combination of bakelite-like resin, mixed metals, semi-precious and Austrian crystal stones.  Using this workable modern material, Ann mimics ancient gems that call to mind vintage jewelry, Scottish Jaspers, and colorful bakelite.  The combination forms a unique and art-inspired piece.

Bijou Graphique

Artists Dawn Estrin and George Wilson collaborate on creating unique and aesthetic settings for images they have created or collected.  The images are miniaturized, printed on archival paper, and accented by semi-precious stones and pearls.  All the pieces are handmade from sterling silver.  Be sure to check out Bijou!

Laura Jackson

Laura J. Designs is a unique collection of intricate and flawless detailed work rendered with a variety of metals and a vibrant assortment of A-Grade semi-precious stones.  Laura's jewelry ranges from stylish to sophisticated, antique to feminine.  Each piece is hand hammered, created with superior gemstones and polished to either a shiny or satin/matte finish, that creates a look of extraordinary organic beauty.

Jeanne Jones

Jeanne Jones creates delicate gold filled necklaces and earrings incorporating elegant pearls and/or semi-precious stones.

Jeannine & Charles McKenzie

Jeanine is primarily a self taught artist who is well rounded in her medium as her work is very diverse with delicate mixtures of textures and forms.  Through the years her techniques have included casting, electroforming, etching, and fabrication.  To Jeanine, "designing in metal is like playing, it's fun, exciting and adventuresome."

In partnership with her husband, Charles, since 1992, their earrings are fabricated from sterling silver, copper, brass, and bronze.  The pearls used in their earrings are all freshwater.  The posts and nuts on the earrings are all surgical stainless and hypoallergenic.

Shown below is a sampling of some of the various earrings we have in stock and note that many of the same styles are available in clip earrings.  Many matching pins and pendants are also available.

Rebecca McNerney

Primarily self-taught as a jeweler, Rebecca McNerney's work focuses on the textural differences between the smooth pearls and the textured and oxidized metal.  All of her designs are very simple, and focus on the intrinsic beauty of the materials.

Patina Metalwear

Michelle de Vuyst has been creating jewelry art after the fashion of the founder of Patina Metalwear, Diane Hanson, who retired at the end of 2007.  Michelle trained with Diane on a one-on-one apprenticeship in Toronto at the original Patina Studio and began working with Anodized Aluminum soon after completing her studies.  Each piece of jewelry made in the studio is examined carefully by Michelle before it is allowed to leave because it is Patina Metalwear's enduring pledge to provide quality designs and excellent service.  You'll have a fun "time" wearing these colorful watches!

Q. Miller

Throughout history, humans have used symbols to interpret their surroundings and experiences.  Q. Miller Jewelry combines historical and contemporary traditions and techniques...they hope it inspires you to reflect on the joyous experiences and surroundings in your life!

Barbara Rand

We are thankful that Barbara Rand's creative juices are flowing again with the recent arrival of these three very versatile, comfortable and interesting pieces.  Wear with Jeans or Little Black Dress!

Deborah Richardson

As a metalsmith, Deborah Richardson employs the techniques of forging, raising, peening, milling and soldering sterling silver and 14 karat gold wire and sheet.  Working the hard, cold metals into visually soft and fluid ornaments to wear gives her great satisfaction.  She has always been drawn to the curved, organic forms of nature.  One can see this reflected in her visual vocabulary in metal, a language evocative of grapevine tendrils, river ripples and cloudlike swirls.

Stubborn

Melissa Stiles is an ex-architect who works from her home in Portland, Oregon.  She creates designer jewelry with an industrial edge and has been accused of being Stubborn when it comes to perusing her goals.  Her work is made from brushed aluminum, stainless steel, and silver, filled with vibrant resins in modern designs and patterns.

Please note: Colors in stock may vary from photos shown here.

Amenda Tate

Amenda Tate has been designing and creating cutting edge jewelry since 1996.  She studied Mechanical Engineering before realizing that her interest in "how things work" would be better satisfied in a more expressive mode: jewelry and metalsmithing.  By combining hand forging and fabrication with roller-embossed, fold-formed, cast, soldered, and riveted elements, Amenda's designs result in jewelry that embodies a sculptural presence.

Beth Taylor

Beth Taylor's "Quirk of Art" jewelry is created using found, recycled or repurposed materials.  Her found objects and recycled and repurposed materials become glam and infinitely wearable pieces of jewelry...sure to become your favorite must-haves!

JL Walsh

Jennifer and John Walsh fabricate contemporary jewelry using ancient techniques and materials.  Their work reflects a fascination with the natural world and often includes stones gathered from local rivers, hand-cut bones, shells and bits of wood.  Often too, Jennifer and John apply a variety of surface treatments and patinas and incorporate precious metals and stones.
