Leandra Drumm
–
says her work is
inspired by the everyday people and things that surround her. What
a delightful and fanciful world she must live in! The whimsical
figures and symbols decorating her pewter collections illustrate her
wonderful world of stars, whirligigs and sky-rockets. Along with a
menagerie of odd-shaped animals and hyperactive men, women and children
blessed with far-out faces and figures, Leandra creates a unique world
best described as "fantasy in motion". Shown here are a
sampling of her wonderful switchplates! |

The Tin Woodsman
–
adds a sister company called Crosby & Taylor under the guidance
of Deborah Chapman. One of Deborah's fondest childhood memories
was visiting her grandmother and great grandmother in Boston. They
were both world travelers who lived in beautiful old houses full of
lovely things. Deborah's ancestors, the Crosbys and Taylors, were
merchant ship captains who sailed from Cape Cod to the Orient bringing
back wonders from the artisans there.
In
honor of her grandmother and great grandmother, she started Crosby &
Taylor in Oregon, and continues the tradition of taking pride in
beautiful things. This first collection - all about babies - was
inspired by her grandson and by the two wonderful babies who come to
work each day with her staff.
We are
excited to carry Crosby & Taylor's nursery blessings (with mounting
hooks), baby rattles, charming nursery hooks, memorable keepsake boxes,
cute 1st Christmas ornaments,
darling baby banks, fun lullaby boxes, and special toddler cups (in pink as shown & in blue
too). |
